The Tour De Flow has officially been and gone, and we want to take a moment to extend a massive thank you once more to the incredible people, clients, and suppliers who generously donated to the cause. Together, through sheer determination and community spirit, we managed to raise an astonishing over £3,500 for the wonderful team at The Kirkwood. These vital funds will directly support their unwavering commitment to providing specialized care and comfort for those facing end-of-life conditions, making a profound difference for patients and their families across our region.

With that incredible milestone behind us, our attentions and energy are now firmly turned toward the festive season. Once again, Flow Group is exceptionally proud to team up with our good friends at Rotary International to support their annual Christmas present appeal, bringing hope, warmth, and holiday magic to children who need it most.

The Reality of Holiday Hardship

While Christmas is traditionally a time of celebration, comfort, and joy, the reality is starkly different for many households in our local communities. It is estimated that this year, 1 in 6 to 1 in 7 parents will struggle severely with the financial constraints that Christmas brings.

Coupled with the relentless pressure of everyday utility bills, rising living costs, and winter expenses, many hardworking families face an agonizing reality: they simply cannot afford to put presents under the tree. Without intervention, children across our neighborhoods risk waking up on Christmas morning without a single present to open.

Spreading Joy Together

No child should ever have to experience the heartbreak of feeling forgotten on Christmas Day. Every young person deserves to experience the magic, excitement, and pure joy that the festive season brings.

Building on the incredible generosity we witnessed during the Tour De Flow, our goal this year is to double our contribution to this worthy cause. But we cannot do it alone, we are proudly inviting our wider network, local businesses, and community members to get involved and help us make an even bigger impact.

How You Can Help Us Make a Difference

What to Donate: We are looking for new, sealed toys or gift sets suitable for all age groups, ranging from toddlers right through to teenagers.
A Quick Tip for Teens: If you are stuck for inspiration, older children and teenagers are often the hardest demographic to buy for. Gift sets, reading books, and engaging board games are always massively appreciated and make a huge difference!
Where They Go: You can rest assured that every single gift donated will go directly into the final collection for a young person right here in Kirklees and Calderdale.
Key Deadline: To allow the organizers and volunteers ample time for sorting, organizing, and secure delivery before the big day, please ensure your donations reach us by 15/11/2026.
