In this instalment of our Meet the Team series, we chatted to Rita, our Head of Compliance about her experience at Flow, where she sees our industry in the future and why customers choose to go with the Flow.
I’m Head of Compliance, so I make sure that all the work we do meets general data protection regulations (GDPR) and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
Flow Group is a team of driven individuals who are always striving to improve. We’re curious, committed to growth, and always willing to go the extra mile to support our clients across our fulfilment, print and 3PLservices.
I joined Flow in 2012, I’ve been here 13 years, and I’ve never looked back!
No two days are ever the same, and that’s what keeps things exciting! Mornings usually start with a strong coffee and catching up on what’s happening with the team. After that, it’s a mix of solving problems, planning, collaborating, and occasionally putting out a metaphorical fire (which we’re usually pretty good at). There’s always something new to learn, someone to help, and a fresh challenge around every corner.
I’ve been with Flow Group for a long time now and I can’t really remember what my life was like before I joined! Over the years, it’s been more than just a job, it’s a place that’s shaped me, helped me grow, and introduced me to some amazing people. It feels like I’ve been here forever in the best way possible.
We go the extra mile for our clients across our fulfilment, print and 3PL services, and then a few more just to be sure! Our success comes from creating bespoke solutions and systems that are tailored to each client’s unique needs. We listen, we adapt, and we don’t settle for “good enough”.
Customers choose us because we take their problems off their plate, so they can focus on growing their business. When we take on a job, we dive deep by asking all the right questions to fully understand their needs. We don’t guess; we plan.
We have thorough quality checks in place to make sure everything runs smoothly and gets done right the first time. Our clients know they can trust us to handle the details, so they don’t have to.
If something ever does go wrong, we own it. No excuses, we hold our hands up, fix it fast, and make it right. That honesty and reliability is why our clients keep coming back.
Cheaper is never better. Cutting corners might save money upfront, but it usually costs more in the long run - whether it’s time, quality, or reputation.
If you invest in doing things properly the first time, it always pays off.
Over the past few years, I’ve seen Flow Group evolve, growing, adapting, and expanding into new areas of business.
Looking ahead, I hope to see Flow continue to grow, creating more job opportunities and making a positive impact on the economy. The fulfilment, print and 3PL industry is always changing, but with Flow’s drive, flexibility, and people-first approach, the future looks bright.
I enjoy the mix of challenges and learning opportunities the most. It’s not just about getting the job done but also understanding how things work behind the scenes - especially when it comes to management.
I love being part of a team where everyone pulls together, and I get to learn from others while contributing to the bigger picture. It’s rewarding to see how our efforts make a real difference, and it keeps me motivated every day.

One of my favourite projects was implementing a new set of quality checks for our processes.
Watching the improvements over time has been incredibly satisfying, as we rolled out more training for staff and fine-tuned the system, we saw a noticeable reduction in mistakes. It was rewarding to track the progress and see how the combination of clear quality checks and better-trained staff led to smoother operations and higher-quality results.
I’ve learned that no two days are ever the same. There’s always something new to tackle, whether it's a fresh challenge, a unique client request, or a creative solution to implement. This constant variety keeps things interesting and pushes me to stay adaptable.
My proudest achievement is the journey I’ve had at Flow Group. I started here through a recruitment agency, and over time, I’ve worked my way up to where I am now.
It’s been a rewarding experience, professionally and personally, seeing how much I’ve grown and the opportunities I’ve had to contribute to the company’s success.
It would have to be sushi, I could eat it forever!
My partner’s alarm! It’s like the unofficial start to my day, whether I’m ready for it or not.
I’m currently training to become a Sergeant Instructor for Army Cadets.
I also volunteer as an Independent Visitor for young people in foster care, so I’m trying to be a positive role model, even though I’m still figuring out how to be an adult myself.
I’ve also competed in an Ultra White-Collar Boxing charity match. Somehow, I ended up winning, which proves that I can throw a punch when there’s a good cause involved!
