I am Head of Finance and Company Secretary

We are a fulfilment, Direct mail, print and 3PL  company who advice clients in the best approach for their marketing campaign

What does a day in the life look like?

My day starts with catching up on the previous days work and processing clients and supplier invoices, I ensure that all work has been quoted and invoiced correctly and discuss any issues there may have been, I am also responsible for everything finance, be it forecasting, managing budgets and staff wages

What does Flow Group mean to you?

Flow was an idea founded by myself, Richard and Mick and has grown into something very special, we have a fantastic team of people who I would say are like family, we have all been through a few bumps in the road but we are all sill here supporting each other and clients alike.

What is Flow Group’s secret to being so successful?

I think we are very flexible in our approach to clients requirements and very good at advising the best approach to those requirements. We have a fantastic team who go above and beyond to deliver the best possible service.

Our communication with clients from day one all the way through the project is clear, constructive and helpful so we deliver the best service we can

If you could pass on your most valuable piece of business advice, what would it be?

Enjoy your working life, we spend a long time working so surround yourself with great friends and colleagues.

What do you most enjoy about your job?

The variety, I am never bored and the people I work with.

What’s the best thing about working at Flow Group?

I have enjoyed watching colleagues grow from starting work with us at 16/17 to now being in their 30’s with their own families and homes.

Finally, what have you learnt by working at Flow Group?

Everything financial, I have no qualifications but have learnt it all on the way.

What’s your proudest career and personal achievement to date?

Flow doing what we do 18 years after a meeting in the pub to discuss setting up a business, I am very proud of what we have all achieved.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

That is a tricky one as I love food, it would have to be a Sunday dinner with Yorkshire Puddings
