What is your role?

‍My official title is Business Development Manager, that covers everything from marketing and strategy across all brands to some involvement in our sales team.

‍How long have you worked with us?

‍Officially one month but I've been part of the family for a while due to my connections to the business personally.

‍What is your background?

‍I have varied experience in the consulting world, mainly in the energy, media and automotive industry and I did run a Rugby League Club at one point in time.

What does Flow Group mean to you?

Family, my wife Gemma Wright is HR Manager, my Father In Law Mick Taylor is one of the founders of the company. We've retained key staff for so long because of those family values and one thing you want to do is make your family proud so it means Pride and Family to me.

Why would a customer want to work with Flow Group?

Our values, our expertise and our people. It's so rare to walk into a company and there be so much passion and pride, in the leadership group in particular, and that translates into the work that we do here, every time we put our name to a job for a client we are happy to say we did it.

If you could pass on your most valuable piece of business advice, what would it be?

Specific doesn't have to be complex. So long as something is clearly defined and unambiguous in it's nature, the solution can be too.

What do you most enjoy about your job and working at Flow Group?

‍Creative collaboration and willingness to try something new, we embrace ideas and lean into the idea of trying something new and encouraging others to do the same.‍

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

‍My wife's Sunday Roast, specifically hers, those Yorkshire Puddings should be studied and books written by scholars about them.

Any other notable hobbies/facts about you?

‍I ran a Rugby League club and brought a team from Serbia to play in England's oldest tournament and helped establish the sport in a new country. I enjoy the gym, family time and I'm more than slightly partial to a game of Football Manager.
