What is your role:

I’m the Graphic Designer of the company.

What does a day in the life look like?  

Challenging and busy. Everyday is different; new client design, new improvements for the website, new social media posts and so on. So thankfully my role offers growth and little challenges that I really love and keep me going through the day.

What’s our secret to being successful?

Our boss. No, just kidding, it’s the people. Most people here look for new challenges and goals both personally and professionally, meaning that they are willing to improve every aspect of their job, which consequentially makes the work we do for clients, impeccable, and the reason they come back.

Why do your customers choose to work with you?

It’s our expertise and knowledge. I believe because I treat their design as if it was my own. With the few years of expertise in the industry I do try to apply my best knowledge to ANY design, which often times turns into great design, and that’s why people come back. (Or at least that’s what I like to think).

What do you enjoy most about your job?

My boss. I’m joking again. Flexibility and people. I have a very flexible schedule, meaning that if I want to finish earlier or jump on other things around the company, I can do it, so I don’t make make my life work around my job, but the other way around. That’s what motivates me to come in and be even more efficient and effective. And then people, I enjoy most of people here. Except the ones that pour milk before cereal.

What’s been your favourite project to work on and why?

Probably the new theflowgroup.co.uk website. It took me couple of months to design and build. Loved every bit, and the idea that is expanding it’s even better - there are new challenges ahead and I look forward to them all.

If you could pass on your most valuable piece of business advice, what would it be?  

“If you think good design is expensive, you should look at the cost of a bad one”

A good design on your flyer, product or package or any material doesn’t add to the success of your brand, but it compounds it.

So before designing it yourself or even worst, someone on Fiveer for £5, think how that will impact your customers.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Sunday roast dinner - with my boss. Ok, I’ll stop now.

But yeah a Sunday roast dinner it is probably the best meal ever - and you are getting told this by a guy who lived in Italy, Netherlands and Romania.

What gets you up in the morning?

I want to do more. Whatever the challenge is ahead of us, I (or we) are ready to take it and do our best to have a satisfying customer.

It is pretty satisfying when a customer sends an email with “Wow, this design looks amazing”
